Founded in 2013 by husband and wife duo Pete and Bekki Luscombe, we set out on a mission to revolutionise the way staff uniforms are perceived and worn across various industries. Our Founders

Pete Luscombe, with his extensive experience as the Managing Director of a large property company, understood the importance of first impressions in any professional setting. He witnessed firsthand how the right attire can elevate a brand’s image and boost employee morale. Meanwhile, Bekki brought her expertise from the beauty industry, where appearance and comfort are paramount. Together, they recognised a glaring gap in the market: staff uniforms were often unflattering, uncomfortable, and did not accurately reflect the professionalism of the companies they represented.

Over a couple of glasses of wine and countless brainstorming sessions, the name "The Staff Uniform Company" was born. This simple name embodies our commitment to providing exceptional uniforms that our customers can be proud of.

Response to Challenges

The COVID-19 pandemic brought unprecedented challenges to many businesses, but The Staff Uniform Company rose to the occasion. We worked tirelessly to supply personal protective equipment (PPE) to some of the country’s leading hospitals. Our commitment to community extended to donating scrubs to our local hospital, Stepping Hill, in Stockport.

Post-pandemic, the hospitals were so impressed with our service that they chose to continue ordering uniforms from us, moving away from their previous suppliers. This trust is a testament to our dedication and the quality of our products.
